UnitedHealthcare IronKids Lake Placid Fun Run IronKids will work with the New York Ski Education Foundation to produce the new 2013 UnitedHealthcare IronKids Lake Placid Fun Run. About the Event:The NYSEF IronKids Fun Run is an age-appropriate fun race for “triathletes to be” held annually during the Ironman Lake Placid week. Participating young athletes will run along portions of the same course as the real Ironman race. Location:The Fun Run takes place around the Mirror Lake Public Beach Area, at the start of the real Ironman.

Registration:
Registration will be located adjacent to Mirror Lake near the starting line. We will have an IronKids tent set up for on-site registrations. All athletes must check-in at packet pick-up in order to receive their race materials. IronKids staff as well as volunteers will be present to assist you throughout the process
Registration will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Please allow yourself 10 to 15 minutes to completely register.
Course:The run course will be an out and back format with multiple turn around locations for the different age groups. Please know which division you and in and the correct turn around location for your event.

Cost:The cost to enter the NYSEF IronKids Lake Placid Fun Run is $10. A portion of every race entry will go to benefit the Ironman Foundation and the New York Ski Education Foundation.
Each athlete will receive an IronKids race bib, an IronKids finishers medal, post race refreshments and the pride of calling themselves an IronKid!
