IronKids Las Vegas Fun Run

About the Event:

The United Healthcare IronKids Las Vegas Fun Run is an age-appropriate fun race for “triathletes to be” held during the Ironman 70.3 World Championship week.

Location:

The IronKids Fun Run takes place at the Henderson Pavilion.

Age Groups:

Athletes between the ages of three and 15 are invited to participate in the United Healthcare IronKids Las Vegas Fun Run. Parents are allowed to run with their athletes, but must stay at the back of the starting corral.

Registration:

Registration will be located near the IronKids Finish line and the Ironman 70.3 World Championship Expo. We will have an IronKids tent set up for on-site registrations. All athletes must check-in at packet pick-up in order to receive their race materials. IronKids staff as well as volunteers will be present to assist you throughout the process

Registration will take place on race morning from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM. Please allow yourself 10 to 15 minutes to completely register.

Course:

The Course will be a one mile loop that will start and finish around the Henderson Pavilion.

Cost:

The entry fee is $10

Each athlete will receive an IronKids race bib, an IronKids C9 by Champion for Target tech shirt, an IronKids finishers medal, post race refreshments and the pride of calling themselves an IronKid!

The mission of IronKids is to inspire and motivate youth through the sport to lead an active, positive, and healthy lifestyle. The 2012 IronKids National Series and the Hy-Vee IronKids Midwest Series presented by Dole, targeting youth between the ages of 6-15, will provide an interactive weekend experience for the entire family that will not only showcase the nation’s top youth talent, but also will allow first-time athletes to experience a positive introduction to the realm of multisport. Children will compete in age-appropriate distances with an emphasis on fitness, fun and safety.
